Just 3 miles from Brecon, with the highest mountain in the South of the country (the Pen-y-Fan) looming over us, our location makes Peterstone a Mecca for outdoor activities – equally for the adventurous and the not so adventurous. Even in wet weather there is always something to do – whether it’s kayaking down the river Usk or visiting nearby cultural events such as the Hay festival or the Greenman Music Festival.

With the Brecon Beacons National Park celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, the area has now been recognised as one of the most important geological landscapes in Europe, and the first national park in the UK to achieve Geopark status with 470 million years of geological history.
