Food
Eating is the most important thing we do, yet few of us know the story behind the food on our plates – but we do! One thing we are very proud of is that our meat and poultry is reared on our family farm just seven miles away in Llangynidr, so we know exactly what Donald the duck has been fed throughout his life, by doing this we also hope to lessen our impact on the environment.
Our food is about community, from the customers and friends who choose to eat with us, to Uncle Martin who takes care of the animals on our farm, to our local producers and suppliers.
Our food is always seasonal, using fresh ingredients, home reared, and simple.
The food revolution shall not be televised…….
It begins with using sustainable, local, fresh produce, the foundation of food at Peterstone.

7 miles an hour menu
7 miles from our farm to your plate, slow food doesn't have to take up time, miles or 'cost the earth.'
We believe in slow food, but equally understand that today, people can have a fast pace of life.
We wanted to create a menu where a lot of the ingredients came from our family farm in Llangynidr and other small suppliers in and around the Brecon Beacons, served within an hour to suit your working week - and to also suit those lucky individuals who need not rush back to the office.
The 7 mile Menu offers a 2 course lunch full of delicious local Welsh ingredients for £13.50. So if you have been thinking of trying us for lunch or dinner, now is a great time to visit - as the day get warmer and the nights get lighter the view from our terrace is amazing.
